landscaping around above swim spa?, stone walls
my family recently got a swim spa,it is above ground on a concrete surface.

We have the patio set and metal gazebo right next to it on the concrete surface.

It can be quite the hassle when it comes to trimming the tall grass and cutting the weeds which get as tall as me when they are so close to the spa. I would like to put stone around the edge of the concrete surface, About 3 or 4 ft, My question is will this actually help the weeds from coming back,is there a type of stone that is used for this purpose and can be used to walk on as well w/out hurting your feet. I’ve never done this before and would like opinions and ideas.
Thank you

Thanks,

Take a look at this:

http://www.pavestone.com/component/page, Shop. Product_details/flypage, Shop. Flypage_patio_stones_index/product_id,105/category_id,453/manufacturer_id,0/option, Com_virtuemart/Itemid,136/

It’s pretty, and doesn’t look like it would hurt to walk on (smooth texture). Prior to laying something like this down, spread old newspapers over the weeds. This will prevent them from coming back (naturally)!

Enjoy your new spa!
