Does anyone have instructions for making a faux stone garden box / container? I think it is using styrofoam?
I whipsawed this on a DIY gardening segment ..
The guy has some styrofoam (?) blocks, carven it away and added Paint .. In the end he had something that looked merely mossy stone age!
He used them to do a truly beautiful container garden. Does anyone retrieve seeing this can / me more info or a link?
Thank you!
For anyone who was funny, I found this link on another message board …
This is what I was looking for!
Thank you!
Thanks, twee_grrrl

Once at the theater for more than 45 years, with art as one of my passions involved, I have faux “rocks” made as, among other things, this set pieces. Certainly they are water resistant
If you can not get large blocks, stick you can compose multiple carving then as you want.
The better part of this proposal is still some $ $ $, but worth it. Cover with cheese cloth carved piece, then with a brush, a product called “Foamcoat” It adds strength and a better surface for paint. Once it is set, They cut the excess or residue from around the base of the piece and pain to you, paint your model for some “real” rock to reach the best efforts to realism suit.
Then after, instead, wherever you want.
It could fun to carry around her, especially if you can see other, and how strong you are …
