Bald front yard …
Ideas for the landscape?
We have put off 2 large trees in our front yard that so much shade, grass grows nicht. Ich know, there are species of grass that grow in the position, in the shadow …
I’m not sure if I grass seeds or anything else at try the place to give curb appeal and save you from the yard like a mud hole want, if it was from the beginning regnetIch a decorative border and putting stone with some walking stones and put some other edge in a circular shape in a few places flowers in thinking or an edge with mulch and then some rounded edges for plants inside and someone else have options or suggestions I should we mention a rent, so I will not put a ton of out of pocket, since I am not sure if we are here long term or just for a year or so am.
But so far the ideas are great.
Thanks,
nataliexoxo

Gnome!
We have pea-sized pebbles and larger stones for stepping stones. Mixed and we have some “carpet” evergreens that will eventually grow to be about 20 feet …
Gravel!
There are all kinds of gravel, different sizes and different colors. Make a border around the tree and then fill in with gravel. Once done you can by adding a nice pot garden statue, or perhaps even to decorate a small bank.
A large planting bed would be good, and there are several plants that well in shade. My personal favorites are hostas.
You can get them in all sizes, colors and shapes of leaves, whether striped, textured, or both.
They are good for layering, too – large, surrounded by smaller plantings of hostas or other two different types of plants such as ferns
If you want to shrubs, you can also plant yews. Betterhomesandgardens.com not only lists several types of shade-loving plants, but they also have a program that you use to make your garden as well as ideas for planting can.
The stones are a great idea, but I would jazz it up a bit by this in a fountain …
